Visit to Vajrayogini temple, Pharping

Our weeklong retreat at Segyu Gaden Phodrang Monastery came to an end with a pilgrimage to the Vajrayogini temple and a few other holy sites in Pharping, a hilltown perched on the Kathmandu Valley. We did a special puja and hoisted prayer flags from Atish Dipankar Dhyan Kendra for the well-being of all. Monk Nyingjay and Abby Citron from Segyu Monastery were our guides on this half-day trip, which included a visit to the caves where Guru Padmasambhava had meditated.
